AUBURN - The Auburn football team returned to the practice fields behind the Athletics Complex Tuesday morning with a 50-minute workout in brisk temperatures along with a chilling wind.

Practicing in shells, the Tigers opened with special teams drills before the offense to the indoor facility, while the defense and kickers remained outside. Tuesday's practice concluded with the offense coming back outside for drills against the defense.

Following practice, head coach Tommy Tuberville said that the Tigers will go back to the basics and work on fundamentals during the bye week before turning their focus to their game plan for the regular season finale on the road against Alabama.

"The next few days we are going to work more on ourselves more than we are going to work on the game," Tuberville said. "We're going to go back to the fundamentals and try to have shorter, crisper practices. Today, half the team went inside because of how cold it was. We have a lot of little things we need work to on so we're going to worry about what we're going to do in terms of fundamentals the next few days. We'll start our game plan on Sunday and we'll have all next week."

Auburn (5-6, 2-5 SEC) has a bye week before colliding with Alabama (11-0, 7-0 SEC) on Nov. 29 in Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will be televised by CBS with a 2:30 p.m. CT kick. The Tigers are currently riding a six-game winning streak over Alabama.
